I have a file with AC3 extention wich is a true 5.1 Dolby Digital format, now i dont know how to burn this in a cd so i can play it on my cd player, i tried opened it with a lot of software and it only says that it doesnt recognize the file, i can hear the file with the software provided by my sound card manufacturer (creative), i know is an unusual question but any help will be appreciated... :(

uncompress it using eac to a normal .wav file. Then convert it to .cda if you're making a music disc or .mp3 if ur making a mp3 data disc. I've never tried doing that without the acm filter version .70 from sourceforge.net installed so I don't know, you might have to install that first.

yeah, thanks todd. besweet is more professional, he could use that instead. I usually use EAC because its convenient, but I think besweet will give more high quality results.

I used the Besweet plug-in "BEsure" to convert the AC3 file to a CD, but now that is over all i can hear via WINAMP is the sound you hear when there is no cable at TV...

ANyone knows why??

You can visit this website, they have a Plug-in for Nero, so you can burn AC3 files directly to cd, I’ve used it various times, and it works flawlessly.
