Looks like PiSexy's been down for a day now. It's been a very reliable site for several years now so this is unusual. Anybody know anything?

Pisexy has really gone downhill since they gave Princess and Crazy Tim the boot. Most days you have less than 40 torrents posted. I rarely download from there anymore. If they are out of business I certainly wouldn't be surprised.

Of the various trackers I use I would recommend IPTorrents as a suitable alternative to Pisexy.

I called Dedicated Hosting with NetNation ( 1-800-949-4899) and after giving them a bit of a song and dance about how I was new to the organization and didn't know my customer number they let me talk to a supervisor. He said the PiSexy.Org account has been suspended for non-payment. The outstanding balance is $1470.

So that's the story - about as official as I can get it. Sorry to bring you the bad news.

Yeesh, I never really realized how much I depended on pisexy. I think I've clicked my pisexy bookmark about 20 times today. Here's hoping it comes back up, I loved my 2.4 ratio. :(

For movies, there's Pass The Popcorn or TehConnection. Porn, well... if you don't know where to find free porn, we aren't using the same Internet. Suffice to say there are plenty of good XXX trackers and most are open.

I'm struggling to believe that the site would be allowed to just hit the rocks like that without anyone telling us. Like I said but on a more serious note I was only away on my hols for a week and I know nothing was discussed with us trusted members. I mean 1400 USD is a pissy amount and especially if you say its a build up over 3 months thats less than $ 500 or £300 a month. I'd have thrown in a months payment without blinking an eye if we were asked and I think most people would have cracked open their wallets and helped / dropped in at least monthly subs payment if not more if only they were consulted. They know that for sure there is a massive amount of support there if folks were asked and the powers that be know that for sure. (I never bought into all that nonsense that was spouted at christmas for a second and took it for exactly what it was ;) ) so the only reason I can think of if things are as you say, is that L had , had enough but again surely we would have gotten a hint? there would have been some discussion etc etc?

I find it odd users are coming up with $1400+ in cash when that amount plus a few thousand was already donated over the last 3 months for that very same bill in the first place. So not only did the staff run off with your money... but they are getting a $1400 bonus plus resuming staffing to get a double whammy in a few months.

If you really wanted to put your money into the cause... why not just rent a new server from a new host and forget paying back the whole $1400 owed altogether?

Nothing odd about it. PiSexy members are a community and we aren't going to let the site die. Whatever it takes.

I don’t have access to any records from "the good old days" but I can assure you (and everyone) that the money raised THIS time around was very well accounted for. Not a single dime went to Elvis. There's a new sheriff in town and the site is under new management.

I am going to make it my personal goal in life to insure this site is as open and transparent to it's members as Mother Teresa's orphanage... oh wait... she doesn't post any financials... well WE will be keeping our members up to date on what comes in and where it goes.

So ya... I guess that means we are going to be more trustworthy than Mother Teresa. Which isn't bad for a bunch of pirates! Arrr!
