For the full story, go to the Disturbed Message Board (http://disturbed.infopop.cc/6/ubb.x?a=corfrm&s=602604117&q=Y&cf=965604217) and read the posts.

In short, a member calling himself Management joined and said that Disturbed and Fuzz (bassist) have parted ways. People called bullshit, as this was a junior member and not an admin or mod. The head moderator did confirm that Management was the band's manager, and that Disturbed and Fuzz did indeed part ways. This was Thursday.

Since then, the board's moderating team has been deleting messages and banning users who have posted any information they've found. Apparently, someone found that Dan, the guitarist, had kicked Fuzz out. I didn't see the post, so I don't know the whole story.

At any rate, I'm afraid Disturbed may break up. :( :(

I think most metal sucks, and metal bands I appreciate are few and far in between. But, I do like a lot of the good metal bands. Godsmack, Disturbed, for newer metal, and for classic... Iron Maiden is my favorite but I also like Megadeth. I'll leave Metallica alone. What I really like is rock - metal is usually too loud for me - but some metal bands are just great.

I cant understand why people hate Nu Metal so much. Is it because it's not quite metal or rock as we now it? Is it because its Nu (new). And how do you define Nu Metal? If the popular media had not come up with the tag "Nu Metal" would you still hate it?
Sorry bit of topic but an open question to all, inspired by Adsters post above.

Edit: I was drunk and it made sense ay the time!

I don't get what Nu-metal is. Nobody seems to have an exact definition. Stuff like Mudvayne and Slipknot? Or does it include Disturbed and Mudvayne as well? Because Godsmack fuckin rocks, kicks the shit out of most old metal bands. As does Mudvayne. :D
