anyone want to help me with some stats work...?
"Find the 1 percentile of the standard Normal distribution to (at least) 2 decimal places. "
wtf??
"X stands for the Normal random variable with mean 5 and standard deviation 3.
Find:
P( X < 12.17 )
P( X > 12.68 )
P( -2.59 < X < 6.44 )
P( X < 1.88 or X > 8.12 )"
the first one to give the correct answers and sit the test for me gets a lollipop...

download SPSS for windows and just give in the info, one click on a button and you have a nice diagram, and even a boxplot if you like :D
I don't think you should use a Gauss-curve here by the way, but you better ask someone else, because I'm not too good at math <_< (maybe if you ask Lamsey nicely he'll help you out a bit :P )
