Ashes of the War is a riveting tale of love and betrayal between two brothers, Enrico and Salvatore Cavare, who both come to love the same woman during the Second World War. Circumstances force them apart until 2 decades later, when Enrico is brutally murdered by Salvatore for stealing the love of his life, Arianna. This circumstance forces Enrico’s sons Frank and Dante apart from one another as they explore the opposite paths of “the law” and “the underworld” to avenge their father’s death. Upon realizing Salvatore’s current success as the head of New York City’s largest organized crime unit, Frank decides that the only way to eliminate Salvatore is by destroying his entire organization from the inside, while Dante joins up with the CIA, in hopes of righteously taking down his father’s killer. The story takes an unexpected turn when both brothers realize that Salvatore is Frank’s biological father.
