It's not clear to me what you exactly are lookin for can you be more specific ?
Oh and because it's probably software related i move this one... :)

Okay sorry. I'm not lookin for a serial, I'm lookin for my own system ID. Sisoft sandra gives it as FFFFFFFF times 4, but thats not it. My PC itself has an id somewhere, so I thought it was a hardware question . Sorry if I've offended anybody

What exactly is the reason you need to know this?
How do you know the one that Sandra gives is wrong?
Is it for registration of a program? If so, then the program will generate in ID when it's installed, as WinXP does.

I'd be very, very suspicious if a keygen were asking me for system information.

Unless you've changed your start menu, all such information can be found in 'System Information' found in Programs/ Accessories/ System Tools.

Really though, there is no legitimite reason that i'm aware of for a keygen to need such information. I'd be be very wary in case it's a virus or trojan. Let us know what you need this keygen for, where you got the keygen from, and the file size. Also, have you scanned it with an Anti virus? Do you have an AV installed on your system.

Yeah, you're probably right there mate.

Theoder.

The keygen is probably asking for the id of its associated application. This is very often the case and makes a lot more sense.;)

Start the application and click on Help, then look for something like Register Product, Enter Key, etc..... It may provide you with a product id which you need to copy and paste, or type, into the relevant box of the Keygen. Then the Keygen will give you a key to enter into the dialogue of said application.

Still though, and i'm sure you know this anyway, scan with an AV, and never ever download keygens or cracks from the Fast Track network (Kazaa....).
