Hi folks. I'm new. I thought I'd post a tip for anyone trying, fruitlessly, to get Transmission set up on a CentOS box. After having problems getting the 2.31 version installed, trying endless bad advice posted on forums out there and installing 1000 dependencies that didn't fix anything I went and kept trying older versions. Finally, I discovered that version 2.22 works without problems. Save yourself the time and headache!
