yeah, nevermind the fact that the original Starship Troopers was a pretty good movie, just bring on the blah blah blah pop bitch lesbo action blah blah maybe kelly can make out with kelly blah blah blah.

too bad that neither paul verhoeven (director of starship troopers, robocop & total recall) nor any of the main actors from the original film are returning. oh well, at least the script is written by the same guy... and the new director did special effects for starship troopers, the robocop movies, and the original star wars trilogy.

well, i'm willing to bet that this movie is low-budget and they couldn't afford to hire the same actors from the original one because their salaries have gone way up (most of those young people were pretty unknown when the original was made). denise richards alone would break the bank.
