At the moment I;m using my ISP's mirror service. The accept users requesting stuff so long as they're direct links - No 'wait' links or torrents.

Anyway, I'm quiet happy with it but I find that they miss some trailers/demos. So, what sites do you use that offer direct links to demos etc.

I've done some Googling and found Gamer Hell (http://www.gamershell.com/top_downloads.html). Not sure if is going to work because the direct URL keeps changing

I also found Game Zone (http://www.gamezone.com/downloads) and their direct links are ok.

Steam (http://store.steampowered.com/)

Steam don't really have a direct link so they can't mirror it. Also my ISP has a Steam mirror but their infrastructure sucks. When I set my ISP as prefered mirror, I get IP's from U.S., Japan and even NL (depending if ISP can't source locally). I've even used SteamWatch and Freys Steam Filter to no avail.

You are correct in that Steam doesn't really have direct links for patches. While in the client if you already have a game installed the client will download any new patches from the get go without your consent, but demo's is another story. Whenever a game gets released and Steam acquires this game you are able to grab any demo at any time for said such game.
