Though tempted to make another rant of how hard Shyamalan is trying to make me want to hate him as much as Apple and Parking & Transportation Services, I have something better. People are donating money to send him back to film school, they're up to $700

Haha. Yeah, Ra.One got a lot of hype but it wasn't a great movie. The ones I listed are all better movies than that but of course peoples tastes vary so I hope you find something you like.

Absolutely agree with an exception though "Gangajal"
Genre: Action, Drama, Conspiracy, Crime

Based on a true story, shows the reality of law and administrative services in India. Apart from the quality direction (I found it as good as the Hollywood) coupled with great acting and screenplay, from the sets to the dialogues, the director exceptionally was able to live it out of the fantasy and much closer to the reality.

Highly recommended.

I'd say Singham was the best this year ,Ra.One was a letdown but I guess they are not at the level where they can compete with Hollywood movies in the same genre.

i thought Bodyguard was just downright stupid! I can't stand these slapstick tyle humour movies but then that's just me personal preference. I enjoyed Ra-One if only for the advancements in the visuals...hope there's more of this to come from Bollywood. That said the level of stories needs to improve. Recent 'story intesive' movies i've seen haven't been big hits commercially which is sad to see.
