Some people might want to exclude certain forums from the New Posts (http://filesharingtalk.com/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post) page, to filter out the flooding of posts from certain forums. Here's how...

I've been using the "exclude" feature for ages, to filter the NZB threads (which would easily fill around 10 pages sometimes) prior to the vB 4.0 update, and a couple other sections.

I can't read the article you've linked, by the way - permission error.

I have landed here because of 2 postings requirement. Testing the first link (above) ...

Is this a meaningful post? For me -- yes, if it opens up some options. The link worked for me. Hairy filtering of forum ID's requires some serious time learning.
