Just Installed Office 2003 But Cant Paste Images

I dont know if this is posted in wrong place.

I installed office2003
But when i cut and paste images they just appear as outlines with no image in.
Is anyone else having similar probs

Are you talking about pasting into MS Word 2003?
Are you allowing word to access the web to get the image or data it needs or is this a local image?

I was cutting a guide off net the text shows but the pictures are empty
I opened a doc from office 2000 and there where no images in that.

The wierd thing is i just print previewed and even though they are empty in doc the preview shows the jpeg image but not the gif.

Have you tried saving the images and copy/paste them after saving the doc?
Just wondering if you have norton or something blocking images. They'll be in your IE cache anyway but you know MS, it has to check the web for everything.

I tried disabling Zone alarm pro and nortons utilities 2002, but still no joy.

The only change now is that i turned of drawings in MS options and now i can see jpeg and bitmap but not gif.

When i try to open art package Ulead5 the same as above but it says unable to open file unknown file format.

Its really annoying my kids cut adn paste all the time for homework.

Note forgot to say operating system just installed Home XP.

I did not install paint that comes with Office?

thanks for trying to help me i found out that it is only certain gifs will not save.

The other ones in temperary internet files do cut and paste.
