I had a situation with a female friend. In this situation she was friends with both me and my wife, and we had grown very close over about a 2 year time span. When we discovered that she was kind of a two-faced lying bitch, we properly excommunicated her... completely. She even hangs out with some of the same people that we do, yet we manage to avoid her completely.

What reject continues to hide is that he is still obsessed with her (I went through a short period of that, admittedly, myself). The obsessive feeling sort of comes from the completely disorienting feeling of having someone close to you turn out to be quite the opposite (I'm speaking only for myself here). In that obsessive period of time, I found out about many other things that she was lying to us about, and it allowed some closure, a completion of the portrait. After finding about all the truths, and concluding what had transpired, it allowed me to close that book completely. It was a dark era for me, as that length of time extended quickly into learning about my wife's betrayal of my trust. It's a bit of a long story, but suffice it to say, reject is fucked up in the head right now. I'm not sympathetic, but there's some shit he needs to sort out in his head.

If anybody ever commissions you to give a speech about the challenged at a sporting event, please, for the love of god, tell a story you heard about them. The minute you start talking hypotheticals people will just want to ask about why you didn't compete, hotshot.
