Just got 26 eps of a show called Trigun and I was very impressed with it. Not exactly like anime movies of course (Vampire Hunter D and vampire Hunter D Bloodlust being my faves) but it is really cool, especially the way they really throw you for a loop towards then end.

If you get in the chatroom tomorrow I will gladly send some your way, though the first 4 eps are really just build up.

... don't know any.

But, I am looking for a realy cool anime music video (verage length about 4 - 5 minutes, or longer). Any will kind do. Must be high quality. And not in English.

I saw an anime music video at a computer show (sung in Japanese), used on display to show to show-off a new monitor. It was evry nice. And the music was beautiful. The artwork was excellent.

Any links or KaZaA keywords anyone?

Some good ones i've watched are
Dragonball Z (imo, the best is the cell saga and buu saga)
Cowboy Bebop
Yu Yu Hakusho (that is the anime i got my nick from :) )
CyberCity Oedo
.hack//sign (pronounced dot hack sign)
Outlaw Star
Gundam Wing
G Gundam
and thems about all the ones i can think of right now although i know i've watched many more...

And a great anime movie is
Princess Mononoke

Also there's some good hentai (which is basically pr0n anime...not all hentai's have just pr0n, most actually don't have that much) too and it's widely available on kazaa :D

there is also

Excel Saga (very funny)
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Macross Plus (and all the other Macross stuff)
and lots of others

just make sure your watching Japanise language with subs, otherwise the bad american voices ruin it :D

And a great anime movie is Princess Mononoke

have to agree there!

Neon Genesis Evangelion, Saber Marionatte J, Saber Marionette J to X.

Those 3 are the best!

guess i forgot all bout the movies...

i agree about the voice over thingy... (dunno how to use the quote thingy yet) haha...
it does spoil the show... but the cantonese sub still sound quite nice...

the shows that is recommended, thanks for them... i'll check it out once i free some space... haha...

for the anime videos thingy,

you can try www.animemusicvideos.org this site has quite a variety...

i would have thrown in lupin, but i really dont care for it
its the only project of ol myazaki i never really liked, bit too retro and all
nightmare campus and angel of darkness is hentai as well, i suppose,

I'd say hentai counts, since it is anime, just with a little twinge of pr0n thrown in

Hentai is considered anime now? Too much people have sexual desires. :P

02-14-2003, 04:49 AM
sexual desires from peeps here on the board.........I can't believe that
Now sexual desires from peeps in our chatroom i'd believe

And, AFAIK, hentai most likely always was considered anime in japan, since they are a lot more open with nudity and stuff like that and probly don't even differentiate between the 2..

we can call it what we like, sex or no sex
but if its based on the art that was inspired by betty boop, astroboy, and the like
then its anime by g0d

serial experiments lain is the bomb
i absolutely loved it.
its a bit artsy (in my humble opinion)
but if you have an iq above 80 i think youll like it.

02-17-2003, 01:47 PM
i jus finished watching final fantasy unlimited,

got to say that it rocks... except for the part where the animation keeps repeating...

i like the twist at the ending that the two gals Ai and Yuu are actually not human too...

i jus started the serial experiments Lain and i can only say that i dun understand the first episode. its quite confusing... and it already killed my interest... wonder if i shld continue...

maybe my iq is really below 80... :D

it is a little artsy (quoting from ProwL418)

hmm... wat shld i download next...

anyone noe where to find Fake OVA?
