my bt downloads are going extremely slow and im on 1.5 mb dsl (verizon) could any of my norton software be slowing this down? i got norton internet security 2k3 and systemworks 2k3 and av was included

This doesn&#39;t really belong in the Lounge but...norton is not causing problems with your downloads. You download speeds are directly related to two things, the rate at which you are uploading the the upload rates of the peers that you are connected to.

You should try one of the experimental clients (Shadow&#39;s experimental is the one that I use). You get a little more info on the file you are downloading and the speed, number of connections, etc.
