OK, I've been clearing out a load of computer bits and pieces, chucking things away, and I have some RAM that is no good to me.

I have 3 x 64mb PC100 sticks, and 1 x 32mb PC100 stick. All are SDRAM.

Note: This will NOT go into new computers, it is NOT DDR RAM

If your computer takes this RAM, and you could use it, let me know here.

Don't forget, this is PC100, if you have PC133 RAM in your computer, this will slow it down to 100.

Don't send me any address details yet, wait to see who gets it. I'll ship it anywhere in the world.

Hi Billy! im actually trying to get a PC together at the moment to experiment setting up a Windows 2000/2003/Novell server at home (2nd year University student) and just finished doing some networking subjects this year.

I have a PII350 x 2 Chips, case, mobo, cd-rom & HD etc, all I need now is some
SD RAM & a PSU, I’m trying to do this all cheap being on a student budget :).

thx

easy using a Gigabyte GA-6BXDS (http://www.neoseeker.com/Hardware/Products/GA-6BXDS) Mainboard.

Ok couldnt resist here is a picture of the case so far - minus the ram, PSU and PCI cards since i ovosuly dont have em yet.

LARGE VERSION (http://users.ncable.net.au/~healyb/mobo.jpg)

Mobo was my dads last PC and had been sitting in a box since, he got ripped off by the local computer company in my opinion, because the board & 2 CPU's were being used with Windows 98 and to my knowledge it only supported 1 CPU unlike NT

Sam, i have a 16 bit sound card. (ISA) and possibly a VGA card if you need them. Can't help with that secondary cache slot tho!

OK, this was a hard decision, so my kids decided for me.

Keikan, according to sig, already has 192mb RAM, so they decided to give 64mb, to make 256.

Bella hasn't replied with system specs, so no idea, 32mb.

Sam33 has no RAM, so they want him to have 128mb.

I'll also sort out a sound card and AGP 1 video card for Sam33.

If any of you want this, please PM me postal details. Thanx.

 Billy Dean, I think I need a sound card. Do I? I tried to download Jonno's song at Ella's and it wouldn't play, it said I needed a sound card. I never have before to listen to stuff. Is this a one off glitch? Should I try to download again? Or do I need a sound card?

:ermm: If I've said anything offensive earlier which would prevent you from giving a straight answer....... ummmm. I'm sorry? roflmfao!

I hope everyone realises that this memory won't work.
Every time you try to put it in it will fall out again.
Cos there's no catch.

I'll get me coat.

It's OK, I'll send a piece of wire with each one, they can drill a couple of holes in their mobo, shouldn't be too hard.

Hi Sheila...you probably need to re install your sound driver...I had a similar problem with my microphone...message telling me no sound card detected...re installed driver....problem solved.
