For something like that, I tend to do it the old fashioned way:
A mixture of Usenet, BakaBT (if applicable), Nyaa.eu, specific fansub pages/torrents, and IRC xdcc grabs. I had done that for the entire One Piece series. If I couldn't nail down a centralized repository for that series, then I think you'd have even worse luck with Case Closed.

As far as finding out who released which episodes, I'm sure you're already familiar with AniDB, right?
