I just bought a MP3 player yesterday; MEMOREX MMP8500
The Specifications states it has 128mb internal memory, with SD slot up to 512mb..

I would like to know how many music files can fit in this mp3 player?

I was able to load about 35 songs in WMA format, Is there a difference between MP3 format and WMA, or Real Player?????

If possible.....How can I convert my WMA files into MP3 files?

I need help.....

Thank You..........

Is it possible to COMPRESS these WMA files?
-so they can be smaller?
-and more can fit on my player?

i think wma is much bigger than mp3 so you should be able to fit a lot more if they are in mp3 format.

just download a converter that can convert wma to mp3.

dbpoweramp.

wma is better compression, but ive never liked it. Although some users like it at lower quality than mp3s, just convert to 64Kbps in wma and you should be able to fit 2hrs of music on, possibly more.

although keep the originals, as recompressing an already compressed file makes it suckier.

Wma's are much lower in megs than mp3's so you will get more on at 56 and the sound is quite good or try mp3's at 64 ,I found its abit trail and error to what sounds the best oh I use MusicMatch Jukebox.

Go to http://www.musicmatch.com/home/ or get a cracked 1 somewhere.
In Musicmatch go to :-Options-file-covert then the file you want then tell it where to go you'll see once your in there its easy have a listen if quality is no good up the bitrate abit more, remember the lower the more you can get on.

you need to convert your wma to a cd using wmp. or if you own the cd(which i presume you do) rip it into mp3 format. also if you convert wma to mp3 please do not share these files as they will be shite and not a true representation of the music. thanks.
