is het possible to make a 800 mb data file smaller so it can be burned on a 700 mb disk? I know you can overburn with nero but 100 mb is a bit to much :)

You could try compressing it with Win rar.

You could try compressing it with WinRAR or some other compressing utility, but I dunno if it'll make it 100mb smaller.

You can try to compress it with WinRar or WinAce...

how about trying to compress it with WinRAR

so WINrar is pretty good :) .

but the file is already in zip format, it probably isn't much worth it to compress it again, is it?

no

how big is the file now? cuz it depends on which type of file it is.... (game, .exe, document, etc.)

it's a game file. one is 801 mb and the second is 720. the game is max payne 2. the files are a bin so I have to burn it in order to play it right?

I knew it would come to this. People and .bin files just don't get along. :D

Go here (http://www.klboard.ath.cx/index.php?showtopic=56059) for a tutorial on how to burn .bin files with Nero.
