Sorry bout the quality, i uninstalled the main picture viewer and was left with ms paint, long story. Anyway, how would I make a normal cd (CDA files) using MP3s? Does anyone know?
depends if u want to include regular music (CDA format) or both cda and mp3....
if just mp3, use the cd as a DATA cd....
if both... then first burn a DATA disc with the mp3s WITHOUT CLOSING THE CD....then in another session make the other tracks with cda :)

I am new to Roxio, in fact, this is my first time, I am ok with nero, but I am scared to change the software in case it damages my Cd-Rewriter, call me paranoid, but I used to use Nero for my Ricoh MP7083A and the drive no longer works! I know it might not have even been this, but I don't wanna take risks. Is it safe to use other software?

Which version of Roxio are you using?
With version 6 just open creator classic and in the middle of the screen on the Project tab where is has ' Data. Music, Other' select music and a drop down tab will display ' Music or Mp3'.
Since you want cda format select music and just start adding your mp3's and they will be converted for you.
Hope this helps,
Steve
