Just getting back into usenet after 6 months or so away.

What are the best sites for HD? I am looking for stuff like remuxes and full blu rays. I know the regular encodes are pretty easy to find.

I'm using http://www.abhdtv.net and NZBMatrix but I have no idea how much that is of the total posted.

I have abhdtv from a while ago. Do I need to pay or something I can't see the posts.

I think you need to pay 20$ a year

Eh, doesn't seem anything special worth paying for.

It's just pocket money but tell me if you find other sites. I don't expect to find one site that have them all so every little bit helps :P

Sure its pocket money but its also two months of access. If the site doesn't have much different then the others then I don't feel the need to pay. Plus the layout sucks imo.

there are still many blurays that u cant download without it(rapidoor releases).

+ for instance , these (http://nzbindex.nl/search/?age=30&sort=agedesc&poster=jj666&max=25&more=1&p=1) are the recent ones from hdbits
goog luck tryring to recover passwords or get retail us\uk copies not german alternatives

Oh that site pw protects their releases? lame.

If I have that hard of a time finding one I will just grab it from hdbits. I just prefer to use usenet for larger stuff so I don't have to worry about seeding back.

I use nzb.su and nzbmatrix, su is better with imdb score in the list.

So does it worth it to pay that cash ?

Do they have all hdbits releases?

He (and I) don't want any 720p blu-ray or remuxes :P

Actually remuxes are what I am after. Full blu ray is fine to. Mkv's are easy to find.

Check out http://www.binaryinvasion.com/

They ran the DVDR spotting scene for a long time, but have mostly moved on to full BD spots and remuxes. As far as I've seen, they have most of the discussions from ABHDTV, but for free. Plus, the crowd there is much more relaxed, although they are also less active. For most of the major releases, they also have the password right in the spot.

Edit: I just checked. They have fewer remuxes since the last forum update. They are very quality-focused.

The site looks promising although they don't have a lot non 1:1 retail blurays . I was expecting to see a lot of hdbits releases there , but only 18 topics

Thanks. Remuxes are the best quality there is though so I am a little confused. They don;t really matter as its a little smaller and I don't have to remux myself. Full BD is just fine.

A remux has the exact same video track as a full bluray, it's just packaged into an MKV, and the extras + additional audio tracks removed. Just to alleviate confusion.

Paying for an indexer is stupid. Find it yourself on nzbclub or mysterbin and spend the $10 on more important things, like a dime bag.

If it's on principle, I understand. If it's about money, then what's the point of buying a bag full of 100 dimes?

Unless your pay for vip, nzbmatrix only allow you a low retention. Gingadaddy offers full retention for free members.

Like I said VIP for the Porn. All other cats are free. Porn is also very much available for free else where. Like the Internet :) Would agree that some things are worth paying for and a decent toke is always top of my list.

nzbs.org is great! Especially since they updated their Newznab. One major down fault using Newznab websites is the risk of fake content or pass worded files. But not a huge deal if you know what to look for and how to avoid them.

I am member of nzbs.org but you can't register. They have not activated their invite system yet. Other sites are almost as good and exactly the same as nzbs.org for eg, http://index-usenet.info/www/
