I don't think it matters. To these guys they only care about how hard a site is to get into, no matter what the site is.

At least these all seem to be in similar genre, which could imply actual interest. Baby steps, but at least some progress.

Though why not go the regular route http://picocool.com/request_invite.html . I know you might be stuck in your old ways, but you could at least try it.. you know, see how it feels to legitimately join a site.
