Posting options from Linux CLI

I've tried using Newspost (https://github.com/PietjeBell88/newspost/tree/threads) and Newsmangler (https://github.com/madcowfred/newsmangler) with little success. Are there any other programs that people use?

Newspost will go nuts if the server times out and isn't able to recover. Newsmangler will just randomly crash. I've upgraded the yenc module to 0.4.0, but it hasn't made any difference. I'm half way tempted to load X on the box so I can use jbinup, but it doesn't seem that practical.

Anyone with any suggestions?

i wouldnt use anything but jbinup tbh because of the header checking feature

I had to install some sort of a desktop on my linux VPS when i had one.

It wasnt very "practical" but i cared more about stuff being properly uploaded

Yeah, I should probably start setting up the VNC then. Sigh

Hmmm.... Seems like JBinUp doesn't work well with linux. Lots of timeouts. Even checking the headers is painfully slow. Did you get the same problems?

Lot of people seem to recommend newsmangler, but it seems to freeze up and not post for me. I saw a post awhile back on here about someone having a patch for newspost to support nzb uploads, I would love to get my hands on that!
