Questions about Tor Project?

I heard of people using Tor, but I don't know music about it.

So, what is Tor?

How are people using it? Like for anonymous, or what are they using it for?

Are they using it for security? Are they using it in replace of PG, and PeerBlock?

Are there tutorials on how people are using it? What is it all about?

Am I using security? No, I am not. Would it be wise decision to use it?

Should I get the browser as well?

Also, don't torrent over tor or you're just being a douche. A number of trackers will ban you if they find you using it as well.

What good will Tor do if we can't torrent over it? I mean is it a waste of time? I don't know about Tor since it's probably won't do any good.

I'll just stick with JDownloader with filestube.com.

I don't even know how others are even getting by with Tor.

BTW, yes, honestly, I got the info about the future. I have the site for the news, so it's not going to happen since I didn't get "friends" to join. Ah, I got it. I'm looking into alternatives a bit more.

I found that before your reply. As I'm reading it right now without doing anything. The I2P Destination suffix is hard.

I was doing a Google search for the tutorial, and I saw a member posted with no replies looking for the same thing in looking for which is a step by step dummies tutorial for everything, and not just the destination part.

I have to admit the tutorial is confusing. I don't know the date on that thread I read. I didn't look.

I was hoping you could dig up a well explained easier tutorial.

I would appreciate that!
