View Full Version : I'm a pathetic mess

I had much alcohol tonight, started early. On the way back home, I drove by my ex-girlfriend's house from more than 12 years ago. I said "drove by" because I didn't even remember which one was hers. I have no idea why the fuck I even did that, as she probably hasn't lived there for over a decade now.

I'm a sad creature unbecoming of this potentially useful brain.

Only because I was too lazy to get out of the car. I'm feeling particularly U.S.-y today.

When you say "girlfriend" from 12 years ago, that means she's gotta be about ready to graduate from high school, right?

Why does it always have to be me who asks the difficult questions so that we, as a group, can delve into Mary's psyche.
She might stop liking me so much unless some of you guise take a turn.

So, Mary. How come you started thinking about this girl. What was the train of thought that led you to risk life and limb and drive just to get to her.
Are you alright.
Did you drive all night.

I know this is heard a lot, but I'm not only a pretty excellent driver, I'm a decent drunk driver as well. I've never been in an accident that was (1) my fault or (2) could have been avoided. I have been rear ended while stopped for over 15 seconds at a red light, I've been side swiped in traffic in the rain, and I've had a drunk driver try to t-bone me when he ran a red light at a major high speed intersection. That last one required me to react in a way where he only managed to rip my front bumper off. I am of the belief that my state has the absolute worst drivers.

During my automotive operation this recent night, I wasn't particularly drunk, just a bit influenced.

Her manifestation was one of pure chance. I was driving on the smaller roads on my return home and happened by her old neighborhood, took a small detour to swing by. I was baffled by it so much that I created this thread shortly after arriving home.

No need Idol, might as well let you in on the fact that my marriage fell apart several years ago. I just happen to be living with her and have a sort of roommate/friend relationship with her. I just still refer to her as the wife for simplicity's sake.

I named the elephant Freddie and we have become quite good friends in a totally non-sexual way.

I'm not sure a metaphorical elephant can be thought of in a non-sexual way once you start anthropomorphising.
The trunk, for one thing, and they have prehensile cawks. What a fantastic attribute for a penis, that is.

And also; shouldn't the elephant have a more sinister name, given what it represents.

If so could you PM me some of them in direct violation of your Mod oath (you know the one you didn't swear but if you step too far out of line the one they will lynch you with anyway).

I want to know who to properly hate and not just generally dislike like I do with the majority of people here.
