I want to limit the MY download speed for my BT downloads, does anyone have an idea of what the best program to use for this is? I use the shadow experimental client but this only allows me to change the upload which isnt any good to me. Any ideas?

Just use Netlimiter with the client you are using now. It can control up and download speeds.

You are welcome :D Netlimiter is also pretty handy for Soulseek. Ocassionally when you connect to slsk you become a "supernode" (I think for distributing searches but I am not sure) and your upload bandwidth gets drained. Use netlimiter and the problem is solved.
