I can assure you nothing could be further from my mind. However, Dave must understand that he exists. He exists in this world where other people exist. He says and does things that leave an indelible mark on the timeline of this reality, and as such is likely to be referenced by other people as he crops up in their lives for as long as he is able to interact with these 4 dimensions we all co-exist in.
In short, I am hoping to achieve raising some money for charity. I have found I have most success with this when I am being humorous. If people associate being amused with my request for money they are more likely to part with it. To this end I have engineered a few short lines of self deprecating humour that the members of this board are able to relate to, using an element of my past. My personal history if you will.

I was thinking about this recently. I've realised anybody who isn't capable of self deprecation hates me, sooner or later. But I'm fine with that because to me that's a litmus test of whether someone is worth knowing or not. I posted more than once about how my major concern about all that stalker crap was that it gave credit to the idea that Squeamous had something to fear from me. It was something which concerned me greatly. As it happened now we all know where it stemmed from it's of little importance. I'm even willing to bet she never meant her private message to chavis to imply I was stalking her, and never forsaw all the shit that would stem from it. And I can't fault chavis for leaping to defend her for his interpretation that I might pose some kind of risk from that message, indeed I might well have acted the same if confronted with information like he thought he was confronted by. Without seeing the message I will never know what it said. It all seems so meaningless now that its of no importance to me.
