The popular budget backend Xlned recently increased retention from 400 days to 900 days (seemingly overnight) so all its resellers like XSusenet should also pass this on.

I'm guessing that XLned probably pulled old articles from Highwinds -- since the completion appears to be similarly poor. (and let's pray that XLned never got close to the idea of ditching their server and reselling Highwinds - since it was one of the best -often free- solutions to Highwinds' legendary piss-poor completion.)

600 days is not that big of a deal, maybe a couple years ago when giganews was banging out 365days+, lol, servers with at least 1000 days retention are whats hawt;)

Don't mind JustDOSE ... we all know by now he's just some patethic loser that seems to bring absolutely nothing constructive to FST, apart from calling everybody n00bs like a big crybaby

600 days for a free backup-server is indeed very decent.
Let's hope their lifetime free accounts last a very long time.

Definitely, and as a casual Usenet user I'm grateful for it. They're one of the servers in my "arsenal" and it's nice to see they've extended their retention time.
