i read that wma is the same as mp3 with a smaller size..... why? whats the problem with wma??

MP3s are already compressed. Compressing them more won't make much of a difference. Stick with MP3. It has better compatibility.

compressing them to wma does actually give a really good compression, however there is a problem with wmas having info stored to try to prevent them being p2ped.

if you really want better compression ise dbpoweramp to convert to .ogg; but id stick to mp3, much nicer
