Another movie about the Holocaust, about a ss-officer and a priest trying to inform the world about what's happening...

i was touched by the pianist for a second there but didnt last for long, but saving private ryan and forrest gump are both tear gas movies man. however, many girls told me they cried like babies in titanic, but hell not for a guy like me, lover boy leonardo frozen to death was actually quite good to watch lol.

For a true story, the pianist was good, real life/death, no overglorising, (not sure if that is an actual word,) .
The thing that gets me about this movie was how stupid the main lead was, making so much noise in appartment, just about doing everything wrong that you could do.
Still, if this is how it really happened for him, he must have the lives of a cat X2.
The many times that he was facing certain death, only to walk away at the last minute , amazing.
Also, director Roman Polanski, lived in poland during the "clensing", and witnessed many of the things portrayed in the film.
To sum it up, idiot painist jew during hitlers ethnic clensing of jews manages to survive against all odds and own stupidity against german army, and lives to play after the war.
P.S. i really liked this movie, regardless of what you might gather from post.
Hitler was one mad bastard
