ok people dont bash on me. i know there was a thread just like this a whie ago but it didnt tell much. i search google for "overclocking celeron" and other things a lot. all it tells me is information. it never tells me "how to". i know PCmark 2002 helps but is this the only way?
now i dont plan on OCing a ton cuz i only have the factory fans in mine. could someone tell me if theres a way to get into my system to OC?

The first thing you need to find out is IF you can OC at all.

Reboot and enter BIOS.
See what kind of options your board offers.
What kind of board is it anyway?

im not sure it says but i will look again. is BIOS "setup" (F10 or F11, not sure) on compaq PCs?

i think its F10 on compaqs, it will probaly tell you when your pc starts up. i doubt these 'boxed' systems will overclock much, if not at all.

explain what you did yesterday. did you see a option anywhere to increase your fsb or system bus?

you might also want to look at downloading 'aida32' which will tell you exactly how you system is and what parts you've got etc

Edit: i think Clocker is just trying to be funny with his sig (although its very very very poor and he can.... oh wait this is clocker here... so he cant do better ;) )

Given the apparent level of expertise and the fact that it's a Compaq, I recommend you don't try to overclock.
