I am thinking of buying a Pentium 4-2.6C (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=&submit=Go&description=N82E16819116159) what would be a good mobo to go with this.

This will be my first pc I build, and I am trying to get the most bang for the buck. I am a gamer but would like to stick with an Intel CPU.

The p4 has been around for a while so it would be nice if this mobo would be able to handle potential upgrades down the road.

Thanks for any suggestions.

ok "for the future" may have been a little lofty.

What is a good cheap board that will run the for-mentioned PCU?

Hmonster.

I am not a Intel guy ( but I play one on TV), so I have no first hand knowlege or recommendations.

This site looked interesting, and informative (http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,3973,436791,00.asp), if maybe just a trifle old.

You may get some ideas at any rate.
