How's your Greek.
Also don't try and give me anything.

That and I find it mildly disconcerting that after years at FST,my brain now processes "pls" as "please" without missing a beat.

Btw I sincerely hope that you don't understand anything that I wrote so there still might be a chance of garnering your respect.

Yeah, it should be the "G"

Did you hear about the little Greek boy who couldn't run away from home?

He didn't want to leave his little brother's behind....:pinch:

I actually thought it was a joke about the economic climate in Greece but, whatever, I'm really in this thread to defend the humble apostrophe from abuse - teflon, how could you

I have no excuse, other than confusion & a slight hangover. Also, my English teachers were quite ugly & I may have drifted off occasionally...

Oh, shit. it's worse than I thought.
I had assumed it was a slip of the finger. A digital deviance. A thumb up the wrong 'un. But now I realise that you're probably beating apostrophes to within an inch of their little lives all over the internets.

It should be brother's behind because there is only one behind and therefore only one brother.
For more than one brother, it would be brothers' behinds and the joke wouldn't work.

I'm going to cut myself now for turning into a heady mix of Arty and Darth Cicero.

Well, I wouldn't want that to happen, so I'll do something I rarely see anyone do on the internets, & admit I was wrong. :O I"ll fix it, so no need for cutting...Although if you go ahead & do it anyway, pics will be required.

No worries, I always posts pics on the internets after I self harm.
I don't do it for attention, though.

It is meant to be a spoken joke. That is all.

Do you have 300 in greece?

Maybe someone has some change under the couch or something?
