Yeah, a 403 error usually means your ip or ip range has been banned.

you can't access the site if you are using an ip proxy.

I found this site while looking for news on tehparadox. Looks like they've had issues before and survived. I'm certainly hoping to see them back as I haven't found a better site for me yet.

Sad news, very sad. One of the best filesharing forums outside of the torrent world. Hope their back soon enough. But based on this years' events wih shut downs alone, probability isn't on our side... :(

Has anybody actually contacted mods/Admins or the owner to see whats up or what's to come? Have they made any announcements?

Actually Anon, I don't think its a DNS error. The reason I say so, from my understanding with a DNS error, someone
can access said site with the ip address in numerical form, which doesnt still rectify the problem with Tehparadox.

From the original post date, I can't recall how long (maybe more than 2years) but I will say I have always had issues
with the home address - from different locations & ISPs (home & away). If not that I had a bookmarked page in my
bookmarks, I would have given up on the site. The thing is though the home site doesnt work, every other indexed
page from Tehparadox is accessible. Which led me to conclude it was a FTWR (RIP) Login trick to keep the
unwanted prying eyes away, and remain active. Then again I could be wrong, though I doubt it.

Not if they're using virtual hosting, which lets multiple sites share the same IP address. The expected hostname would not be sent in the request, and the server would not know what to offer.

Anyway, "error" was not the best word to choose. What I had in mind was that perhaps Tehparadox changed their IP, and it has not propagated to slyd3r's name resolvers of choice yet. In that case, adding the new address to the hosts file would allow entry in the meantime.

Was working again as frequently as last night for me but now I'm getting 502 Bad Gateway

I don't think they use shared hosting as the donation request mentions multiple servers. I donated in the past through PayPal but that has been blocked for them and the new method they were testing seems to only work from North America. The site has been getting slower recently and I fear they have had to cut back on servers because of funding problems. It will be a real shame if they can't continue. Looking on the bright side the current outage may just be for maintenance or something.
