I am using SABnzbd to download Madagascar 3, but the Supernews and Frugal Usenet is using Astraweb server for downloading???
Any idea if this is true?

It could be going through Astra's servers, although as far as I'm aware Astraweb doesn't resell.

...so, what has actually happening?

Supernews + Frugal Usenet... both going through Astraweb?

I thought Astraweb is the remaining long standing & independent usenet provider in Tier 1...

SAB is probably showing you the start of the article path through the newsfeed, in other words, the file you are downloading was originally uploaded through Astraweb.

Supernews = Giganews. Those are just the message-id's. It means the files were probably originally posted through Astraweb.

Yes, just showing what server the upload came from. The poster was on Astraweb.

One of the best features of Usenet is peering. Doesn't matter if it was posted to Astra's Euro server initially, Astra will share it with anyone that they have peering agreements with and then those will share with others who they have peering agreements with.
