...why would you even bother to use 10days retention, low speed, even tough it's free...any point to even set it up in your usenet client?...

With the existence of just4today, there's no point even bothering to add them to the server list.

they also stopped supporting ssl on the free server.

Bottom line, stick to the big well established Usenet providers. These tiny European ones I wouldn't trust. And 10 days? I quite frequently find old films and documentaries from 800 days away. 10 days is useless. This was going to happen anyway, servers and HDD's are not cheap.

They initially offered 1Mbit download and ~1 year retention, which was decent for a free service. I was keeping them as a backup in case something happened to Binload. Now, with the extremely low limits, it's hardly of any use.

Well that sucks major sweaty balls.

Can't knock it too much though for a free service.
