In this era of short attention spans it takes forever to get going and when it finally arrives there in the last ten minutes of the movie,the previous hour+ of setup suddenly doesn't seem worth the wait.
I mean a great portion of the film centers on someone who turns out to be basically nothing more than a cog and not a very likable one at that.

I get the whole "setting up a franchise" that we're subjected to but don't you first have to create a successful film to hang that franchise on?

On the positive side, the action,what little there is of it is pretty decent though if dampened by the usual excessive directorial flourishes.The lead actor is also pretty good but unfortunately except for the aforementioned cog, the other characters are so sparingly developed that they barely register.

Also it's extremely uneven in tone.I've never really gotten the "mixing comedy with graphic violence" thing.

An innocuous enough time-waster but little more than that.

Layer Cske is good because it doesn't settle for the predictable like in that scene is you bother watching to the end.

Even newer movies in a franchise can seem like a reboot. The latest star wars has a very familiar plotline to the originals. Maybe the idea is newer audiences won't have seen older movies so they believe they can get away with simply reusing it!!

What i am trying to figure out today is have an organization call "Planed Parenthood" hand out condoms and say it is ok for a pregnant women in there 9th month it is ok to kill him/her?? I remember watching an Law and Order SVU and Two young Catholic high-school students were in love, and prom night rented a room, now back to the beginning they had unprotected sex and she got pregnant , but had great futures and scholarships to colleges. In school she wore loose sweaters and no one knew she was pregnant, so now she would be in her 8-9th month, they didn't really say but it was close to term. In the hotel room she went into labor and had the baby and wrapped the little boy in a blanket and threw it in the trash!!!!, I am really trying to think what woman instinct would do that forget about a man creating a child?? Then they went back to the Dance and slow danced together like noting they did was wrong!!?? Zero Remorse!!!, And they went to there homes after, and The girl finally showed emotions and didn't stop crying. So she told her father what she did , and he went to the hotel room and the baby was still alive and he took the baby to a construction site, the baby was crying and he berried him under a bunch of scrap while it was alive and breathing!!! ....
So the two Kids went on trial for Murder, and they were found not guilty??? Does that sound right??
No one was accountable for killing this child!!! He could have been adopted and could have grown up and been a great plus to this world!!!!

Just remember this, there is some Canadians come over to your side and pay out of there pockets if they need surgery or minor things because the waiting list here for procedures is ridiculous!! Or it is who you know here if you are lucky to get into see a specialist before you get worse or hooked on narcotics... That is the truth!!
So my suggestions to Americans is try to get a half descent job and yes you will have health care, like one of my Irish friends (yest he is an old Fuck!!), that i golf with in Florida was a painter for the City of New York and yes he has full coverage being retired anywhere in the US. And he is actually one the guys that says there is no fucking way that i am paying more in taxes to support health care!! Which means it will have to start with the younger generation work force and like here your gas will have a bigger tax and some will come out of your lottery gambling (which you fucks get to write off on your taxes!!) will be at lower jackpots for a piece of that will also have to go to pay for your government run health care?? Now just think you are starting out and now you have more taxes and higher prices to pay for health care?? Do you think they will be ok with that?? If so ? Great!!!!
