I'm always looking for new music... I have an extensive collection and I LOVE finding new/old/rare/unknown gems! YOU might have some you want to recommend... please do so here and lets share our discoveries and recommend our finds, and share our opinions come what may... all styles for all moods are welcome.... indeed the more the merrier... So... Allow me to start...

Released by 'The Heavy' in 2012.... The Glorious Dead

Great from beginning to end... rare these days...

They are like Black Keys with a bit more soul... you may recall their hit 'Short Change Hero' from a previous album which was used at the end of one of the Mission Impossible films...

Ok.... come on... I'm looking forward to your selections...

Cheers!

Post links if you want... err if it is allowed... but I think if you are here...you all know how to find almost anything you want when you want it....:yup:

Vey nice topic :) . Not really in to the keeping of the genre... but I have been listening to a lot of tracks on soundcloud recently., https://soundcloud.com/uglydrums - this is an electronic group that I have really fallen for over the last few weeks. Deep chugging sounds with a smooth beat.

I'm not really into music, but my fiance loves listening to it, I'm not even sure what kind of music he has but you can check my profile at http://filevice.com/users/irenerose/6550/Music%20Collection and see his collections which I have uploaded. You can also explore the site, easy to use.

@ Fenrir ...Played through some of it... skipped ahead to get an overall feel... thoughtful, relaxing, trippy... sets a nice mood... background ambience for a night of conversation and wine with a lover...

After ten years he finally found his voice again... I know this came out in March but,
... I've waited to put this up...
... Damn... He is still relevant and to me... my all time favourite...

I recently discovered the band Tesseract.

To my ears, they sound like a much more musical version of Periphery.
