How does one go about this? I know little to nothing other than setting up one account based on an alias, and it seemed to connect me to everyone I ever didn't really want further contact with. :fear:

The only answer I know, and I'm being serious for one of the few times in my life, is to not have an account at all.

Perhaps steal someone else's account? What's the point otherwise, a ghost account with no friends?

Tracking cookies and beacons are a bitch. Since (I believe) you use Chrome, you can install Ghostery or just browse Facebook in incognito mode. This "like" crap is all over the Internet now. Even if you don't have an account, they record and use this data to make targeted suggestions should you create one.

Personally, I'd be highly inclined to second DngrMs here. I for one have blocked all of the site's known URLs and added their IPs to my blacklist.
