I was totally hooked on this show all the way through, and so were many people from my work of all ages and from all backgrounds&#33; It was pretty good viewing and in my opinion, the better singer won. Although I was pretty bummed when Paulini was booted.... <_<

Actually, I think the success of our first Idol would have to be partly attributed to the two hosts. They were just a couple of funny dudes who made the show a lot more enjoyable.

Interesting, humorous: THe first parts when those ppl who have no ability to sing whtsoever came along and try to compete, that was funny

Competitive, basic music enjoyment: When finalists are singing

Excitemet: When they selecting the aus idol and when ppl get eliminated every week

Guy was a better singer than shannon...and shannon has got a normal weird squeaky voice when he talks. <_<

kelly clarkson is one to watch ;) man what a voice.....if we had that sort of talent applying in the uk version it would have been one show&#33; we got nothing like her on ours. :( completely different class of singer on the us show :)
