try http:/www.download.com , there should be free programs there that will let you use proxy.

Also go to google and type "Proxies" or "Free Proxies".

I sometimes use sockcap too, which works similar to a proxy in a sense and is as easy as typing in a web addy.

B) What ISP do you have? some ISP's block the Use of proxies. also some public proxies aren't that go0d and suck a lot of ****. so choose wisely.

I was under the impression that proxies give away what you are doing on the internet. This may be a bad thing to do considering you are a file trader.

you are not using a anon proxy. the proxy you are using is transparent so your ip is being forwarded to ipchicken.

atomintersoft (http://www.atomintersoft.com/products/alive-proxy/proxy-list/) pick an anon proxy with good uptime off this list and try it. ;)

proxies do not give away what you are up to if you pick the right ones. say one in africa + china + russia and no body will bother tracing you over a little software theft.

try using 195.167.64.193 : 80

this proxy hid my ip about 30 secs ago so it is up it's a bit slow though.

I wonder how they can stop you using a proxy. your ip and all your info is striped off at the proxy and then put back on when a packet returns. aol cannot effect this process. <_<

I've heard somewhere else about problems with aol and using proxy's but never really heard that much about it. you could use proxy sites if you need to use a proxy something like www.megaproxy.com is alright

Dont waste your time with proxies. Most don't work properly. Some websites and game servers wont work correctly if there isn't an IP present.

First you find working proxies, then click on Tools > Internet Options > Connection > LAN Settings > In the Proxy Server box, check the first box, then check the box that says Bypass proxy server for local addresses, then uncheck the first box again and it should be done.
