HDD prices have fallen so much you can now get quite a bit for so little AND with USB 3.0 Support.

For example:
500GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152407
2TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2TY1416063

You'll note you can basically get the 2TB for only 2x the 500GB model! Which is crazy. Prices really are falling. Both USB 3.0 compatible, so you can get your data in and out of there. Keep in mind if you go off-brand, though, some HDD sellers put crappy drives in their enclosures and then pass them off as "cheap" huge drives, but if what's inside isn't reputable (Seagate, Western Digital, Hitatchi, Toshiba...) then you might be getting something less than you expect. If it's too cheap to believe, don't believe it :)
