No, but i don't see why you should pay for a service like that (sorry if i'm wrong, but TG was a payware service when i saw it last time). Simply install PeerBlock and update the lists. Also check out the www.iblocklist.com for more additional lists, including trojans, ad servers, etc. By default peerblock keeps away AP2P organizations like Sony etc, government IPs and so on. Do you mean this by secure downloading?

Using a VPN to connect on some private trackers (such as what.cd) could result in a permanent ban. Be careful and read your tracker rules first.

I use peer block. Is this a useful tool to use in terms of blocking up to date potentially dangerous IP's?

While not at all impervious, it is a good measure if you keep your blocklists updated from a reliable source. Which the program can do automatically.
