I like Usenet-Crawler, and it seems to be open, which is a bonus.

I put up a whole thread of free indexers.

http://filesharingtalk.com/threads/452707-Free-Newsnab-Indexers

One of the best and most consistent free indexers I've used is

http://newz69.keagaming.com/

Free but limited to 15 nzbs and 300 API hits a Day. They don't have VIP sales.

There are many paysites for Nzbs. Usenet-crawler is not the best of the open paysites.

Nzbgeek.info ( Vig index) has a ton of features and they are open. Nzb.su requires invites but if you ask over in Reddit they are pretty easy to get. The Dog is a nice indexer but difficult to get into. OMGWTFNZB is fast for TV shows but does not have the backfill that other paysites have. They are open but you can only pay in Bitcoin.

I would try the free ones and then if you are going to pay for one, try the nzbgeek Vig index. It costs 6 USD for six months of use. Never pay more than an average of $1 dollar a month and don't get suckered into some expensive "lifetime" membership.

Actually you can pay for OMGWTFNZB with paypal too.

Agreed! This is to me the best and most fun site around! It seems to have everything!

(Believe me when I say I lost count of all those I tried to get get comfortable for months in back in January after "Matrix" departed. 'nuff said.) :alien:

I use predb.net a fair bit, not the best in terms of content but pretty quick and has a lot of the popular stuff.

I generally go to dog. Not free but the lifetime membership wasn't expensive and so worth it.

nbzclub catches almost everything uploaded to usenet and has tons of useful search options

With all the password indexers now it's probably worth finding a good private board with scrambled filenames... Not that I have found any yet :/
