Are there any restrictions to the size of my uploaded files?
A: Each file you upload must be less than 2 MB in size for free/non accounts
2 MB just aren't what they were in the 90s :(

IKR. That's like 1 1/2 discs back then (1.44 MB).
I even remember having a particular conversation with a guy who pointed out that his new PC could, "[play] Stairway to Heaven in memory." :O

2 MB, that's a colossal amount of text. I mean, it's like two million characters.

lol nice one!
To continue the above conversation, I was doing some research recently, and stumbled upon this article...
While 516MB may seem like a lot, it's not. You can now buy a 200MB drive for just $500. Drives exist that store over one gigabyte and cost in the $3,000 range, not much more than you would've paid for a 60MB drive just a few years ago. In the mid nineties, you'll be able to buy a 500MB drive for just $700.

I'm racking my memory and giving away my age but I remember shortly after the IBM PC came out, a colleague spending $1500 for a Corvus 5GB hard disk system.

Lol. My first Hardrive was 30mbyte bought in 1986. Now I have 32 Terrabytes.

If you could find one, I bet its valued much more than the original price. Just like that beat up NES cartridge that sold for 30K
