-FEB 23 2014 EDIT- via RealitY: The site is lagging bit and were working on it. For now some might not have any access to certain things on the site. Were hoping its sorted fairly quickly... This is now fixed.


--NZB comments don't add to your post count--

1. You have to make at least 2 meaningful posts, "thank you", etc. in the NZB section do not count.

2. You have to have been here for 15 days or more. 15 days are counted starting from your registration date, not that of your first post.

3. Meet those 2 conditions, and within the hour of meeting them, after logging out then back in, you will be promoted from 'n00b' to 'member', then you can go back to doing whatever it is you do, quietly.

Please don't start a new thread, ones already exist. The mods are busy enough.

If you're going to post a new collection, you need to read the guide in the forums. Please be mindful of posting repeat/dupe articles. Especially if you're duping something that's on the front page. Use the appropriate categories, etc. Just don't half ass the posts, it makes more work for the rest of us. And then we get angry.

Agree with the credit concept, but if you've seen the state of commentary in that section, what we'll end up with (at this point) is people snaking nzbs from other sites, or a search engine and posting them half-assed. I've already had to edit an incomplete set, a passworded set with no pwd, posters too lazy to scrape or copypasta the nfo etc. Just more work for the staff.

At this point it's like just donate the 5 or 10 bucks and be done with it.

Im not sure why people are now being forced to post in the forums. It puts more strain on the server, uses expensive bandwidth and gives the mods more work. What you will end up with is a lot of useless posts just to meet the requirements....sort of like this post....

I'm with you on this one but I think it may have to do with bots scanning the site and leeching at will. Even captchas nowadays are no match for certain types. So although this wouldn't stop someone from posting 2 comments and then unleashing a bot, but at least it's not as easy as it was before. Hey, at least they're not making us click on 2 ads.

Maybe the site owner is doing a cleanup of the users who are bot signups? If you manually post and become a member, you are therefore not a bot (debatable to some I know :P) and therefore not likely to be weaned out when the cleanup happens, prob user base runs into 1000s & 1000s of dead accounts?

You don't have to read all 13 pages, just the very first post of this thread that you took time to post in. Who knows, you might even reply to this post, log out, go & do something useful for 30 mins or so, come back, log in and then check your status, then you can go back to getting something for nothing again, just a thought. :/

You can't post then post underneath your own post, the system automerges into 1 post, so your post count will/would have been only one, now you have the minimum 2 posts the download button will appear very soon, log out, go for a jog or something, come back in half hour and log in - like magic you will be able to go back to lurking mode.

Can't agree more - that was my point before - posting just to post doesn't make the content worth reading... I may not have many posts around here, but I can tell you I've read 100's, if not 1000's of forum messages in here... reading is your best research... but alas, if they want posts, they'll get them (may regret it, but they'll pour in). :(

You know as a test I included some boilerplate with the newest nzb posts, and some of these idiots still couldn't be bothered to follow directions. At this point I say close the fucking section. 1st post, I do like this site as said by others, don't see the problem with new rules. guess its just not for some.

And as for the Donate section $2 a month or $10 for a year no brainer its is nothing really, especially if you are a long time user of this site/fourm, if it helps them to keep inproving things, not that everyone sees things the same way...just my thoughts.

The first place to start posting is helping to answer posts where the poster is needing assistance, no need to jump right in, but if you feel in your experience that this or that works, then just say so, then you get know some posters, then you move to other parts of the forum which interest you, not looking for 50 posts a day, just once in a while until you get comfortable. When you get confident, you will wonder why it took so long to get started :)

And honestly I would say what 90% of the users on here are leechers. You can't really eliminate them....If it weren't for the leechers there would be no companies willing to advertise on the site right? From my standpoint there wasn't much thought put into it/the problem. Just my two cents I guess!

Originally this was one of the three site I used to get my nzbs from and now your the only one left, was truly gutted when you went down last year though that you had closed as it was shortly after the fall of nzbmatrix.
