I've seen some really good Wall Street movies....this ranked way up there....it speaks to how I really think they are. <Greedy>

does Leo do his role justice....? trailer seemed a bit over the top, but then maybe that's the idea. don't see how it can be pointless if it's based on true story, but haven't seen yet so maybe worth a quick look.

I thought it was great not better than Goodfellas but is definitely in the same realm for me, looks like one of those movies I can watch a million times and not get tired of it just like Casino and Goodfellas

It's almost a satire on capitalism/consumerism, our obsession/greed for it.

It was alright. Definitely not Scorcese's best, it probably went on an hour too long. But there were a few really entertaining scenes, like the one at the country club.

Heh I guess you have a point there. I tried to discuss it at least a little bit. To be honest though, there's just not much to say. Its 3 hours of the same thing, and yes I was entertained by it but can't think of much else. But maybe... just maybe... someone will come along that actually has something more to add...
