Any EVE Online players here? Any comments on the gigantic nullsec fight in B-R5RB?

Eve online = spreadsheet simulator. What was the objective behind this gigantic fight? Or was it just a result of boredom.

It was due to an unpaid bill meaning the sovereignty of a system ended and there was a huge fight to claim it. A lot of value lost with all the ships that were destroyed.
