after loosing newzbin and nzbmatrix ive not botherd with newsgroups that much but been getting back into it of late and been using usenet crawler,
its not bad but i miss the api thing at least thats what i think it was called, it would basiclally let me browse the site on my phone but would download to my pc by connecting to sabnzb,
most of the stuff ive read trying to figure out how i used to do it talks about sick beard and tv shows which isnt what i want to do.
is this called API? that im after and can someone recomend a good site to use

thanks

Usenet-Crawler Has This. You Just Need To Register An Account With Them.

Yeah, you're looking for a site that generates an "api" key that's tagged to your username. Then you apply it in a RESTFul web services call to that site with the combination of your username and the "api" key. That website then sends a response, hopefully in JSON with the content/payload you requested.
