I started watching How I Met Your Mother since the 2nd/3rd season and then falling asleep right before the finale (today), waking up, and catching the last 2 minutes of the episode =/

I fairly sure that the Holocaust was the worst thing ever but this thread did narrowly edge out the Bubonic plague for second.:)

Oh sorry, I forgot about Mary's marriage.

We're glazing over the fact that it awakes only to continue consuming what it feels is the worst thing ever.

Somebody provide either a spiked paddle or a number to a suicide hotline.

Why have they not come up with a better colloquial term for suicide hotline? I can't stop imagining it as a place where people say, "go fuck yourself, then go fucking kill yourself."

In fact, I see an opportunity for good old fashioned American competition. We get some phone numbers that are just one digit off of the existing hotlines', then charge like $75/min (like they are going to care, right?) to help them through the challenges standing between them and their "goal".

Whatcha say, Mary, 60/40 -my plan/your charm? :)

Get it started, do 100% of the work, give me 100% of the earnings, then go kill yourself.

:) :)

I'm sure if you ask a marketing person, they'd praise my use of 100%.
